Disney Channel (originally The Disney Channel from 1983 to 1997) is an American basic cable and satellite television network that serves as the flagship property of owner Disney Channels Worldwide, a unit of the Disney–ABC Television Group, itself a unit of the Disney Media Networks division of The Walt Disney Company.
The channel’s programming consisted of the original run of The Proud Family, debuting on September 15, 2001 and concluding its run after The Proud Family Movie on August 19, 2005. Then, The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder began to air on the channel on January 7, 2023. Louder and Prouder aired the first season in promotion of the second season of the series, then the second season was aired about a month after the first season finished airing, on March 4, 2023.
